NOT JUST ANOTHER VITAMIN
Vitamin D3 is a fat soluble vitamin so it has poor oral absorption. With multiple functions in the body, it acts more like a hormone
than a vitamin. Vitamin D has a complex regulatory effect upon calcium in our bodies and in the mineralization of our bones. Vitamin D also plays an important role in our immune system, insulin regulation, weight management, skin and cardiovascular health.
Vitamin K2-M7 (Menaquinone), another fat soluble vitamin, is rapidly becoming an essential vitamin for bone and cardiovascular health due to its role with calcium. MK-7 has been shown to support normal bone formation, and has a regulatory effect on vitamins A and D. Recent studies show that MK-7 supports cardiovascular health by clearing calcium from blood vessels. MK-7 also activates osteocalcin, which regulates testosterone, insulin, glucose and stimulates dentin for healthy teeth and gums.
Vitamin A (Beta-Carotene) is also a fat soluble vitamin with multiple functions. It plays a role in bone development, and works with vitamins D and K2-M7 in bone building and repair. Vitamin A is also needed for good vision, eye health, a strong immune system, and for healthy skin and mucous membranes. The body converts beta-carotene into vitamin A (retinol), converting only as much as it needs, making it the safest form of vitamin A to take.
